Barry Jones

Barry is a 4 time US Open Champion and was honored and inducted into the National Swing Dance Hall of Fame in 2006 at the US Open. He also won the Feather Award for the Best Showcase, Best Classic Couple and Best Choreographer of the year at the Beverly Hills Hilton in Los Angeles, California in 1996.

Barry’s most accomplishments include a first place win in the Showcase Division at Liberty Swing, Dallas Dance and Tampa Bay Classic in 2010 and a first place win in the Mixed Pro-Am Division at the Americas Classic Championships in 2011.

Barry has basically won every award that could possibly be given in the West Coast Swing community and he continues to share his wealth of knowledge and many years of experience toward the growth of the sport.

Barry is also putting together a major dance convention on Aug. 19th and 20th, 2011 called the VIP Adv/All Star Open in Burbank, CA.

As one of the most creative and dynamic dancers around, Patty Vo is becoming known for her unique style of dance. She is considered one of the top female West Coast Swing Dancers on the scene. Through her versatility she is able to mesh her unique styles of dance to create a distinctive style of her own.

Based in Northern California, she travels internationally, teaching, competing, performing, coaching, and judging at dance events across the globe.

Patty teaches group and private lessons daily in the San Francisco East Bay Area, at Dance Boulevard in San Jose and Just Dance in Oakland. She also has a line of her own instructional videos for sale. Which includes: Styling for women, Footwork elements for both leads/follows, Musicality and other up coming DVDs.

In her teaching style, Patty focuses on connection, centering, musicality, footwork, and lead/follow techniques, also incorporating various aspects of her favorite dances: West Coast Swing, Country, Salsa, Hip-Hop, Ballroom, and Jazz.
